I am a Munich-based Swindian (Swiss-Indian) who has lived in Switzerland, the US, Spain, Scotland, London, and now Munich. I used to be an incredibly fussy eater and was happiest with plain rice, or pasta with a bit of butter. Over the past few years, this has changed profoundly as I have discovered the joy of eating and cooking, and this blog is a part of that.
I experiment with many different cuisines: Indian, Oriental, Western, Middle Eastern… and I love buying exotic ingredients, so my cupboard is filled with things like truffle oil, sumac, and harissa. I am also constantly on the hunt for interesting vegetarian recipes, as I am vegetarian every September. You can find all my recipes at the top of the site, sorted by cuisine, as well as some dinner party guides based on previous ones I have hosted.
Whilst I love cooking, I also enjoy eating out, especially in the culinary hotspot that is London. I never hold back in my reviews, so you will always read about the good and the bad (exemplified by a recent terrible brunch)! And whenever I travel, food is a huge part of the itinerary – you can read all about my various experiences abroad as well (including a recent backpacking trip across South America).
I am constantly looking to expand my culinary knowledge, and you can read about these adventures on the ‘foodie experiences’ page, which include some very educational cooking classes!

I rarely depart from food, but I did once write a love letter to London, which you can read here, and a random rant about technology.
